Skein+
$5.99, and both halves of the list.
Most dating subscriptions sell you a way past a limit the app invented so it could sell you a way past it. Skein's limit is the product, so the subscription cannot be that. Here is what it is instead.

What it will never sell
This half of the list matters more than the first, and it is why the price is low and does not move.
- No infinite queue
- No paid visibility
- No expiring matches
- No engagement notifications
Every profile in a given day's set got there the same way: proximity, what you are both looking for, and who you have not already seen. There is no position in that set that money can buy, for you or for anyone else. If that ever changes, the app has become the thing it was built against.
Spools
Spools are the small consumable inside the app — Skein+ includes 400 a month. They buy cosmetic things and the occasional rewind. They are not a currency, they have no cash value, they cannot be exchanged for money, and they do not survive account deletion.
Nothing a Spool buys affects who sees you or how many people you see.
Cancelling
Skein+ is billed through the App Store or Google Play, which means it is cancelled there rather than by writing to us — Settings on your phone, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge and the period you have already paid for runs to its end; nothing is clawed back and no feature switches off early.
Refunds go through Apple or Google under their policies. If something has gone wrong that they will not fix, write to support@skein.me and we will do what we can from our side.
Letting Skein+ lapse does not reduce your daily five, close your Threads, or hide your profile. You keep the app; you lose the extras.
